Conservation commitment
Geometric Tours supports various conservation projects to protect our wildlife and our environment. In June 2000 Geometric Tours staff and friends volunteered to wash, clean and feed thousands of penguins after “The Treasure” an oil carrier, sank off the Blaauwberg coast and caused a major oil-spill. Geometric Tours supports and financially contribute to some of the following conservation bodies, but to mention a few;
Cape Nature; National Parks Board; SANCCOB; National Crane Group; IFAW (International fund for Animal Welfare); World of Birds; Tygerberg Zoo
Social Commitment - Involvement with the community
Geometric Tours acknowledges and honours its social responsibilities towards our previously disadvantaged communities. We strive to bring the tourist closer to the people to experience our cultural diversity. Our tours are inclusive of visits to our community projects and we encourage our tourists to actively support them through the purchasing of arts and crafts.
